The DollarVisor team is three people: one lead editor who owns the brand’s methodology and voice, and two specialists who review every money page in their field before it publishes. Every page on DollarVisor traces back to a named person on this page: real names, real credentials, real work history. That matters on a finance site, so here is exactly who we are.
Our editorial standard in one line: every money page shows a writer byline and a separate specialist reviewer (never the same person for both) under the rules in our editorial policy.

Rachel Hartman is the Lead Editor of DollarVisor. She has spent nine years reporting on consumer finance, previously as a senior rates analyst at a national comparison platform, and has personally reviewed rate filings from all 50 state insurance departments.
